Keyboardist & original member of the Hard Soul® Recordings family, leader & co-founder of the TRIBAL LEGACY Caribbean band, Owen “Dynamite” Romeo (aka MAXymum; aka MAX-O!); fused his “island instincts” & “jazz chops” to produce this “smooth but smokin’ - Soca Stoka Remix” of Strafe’s club classic, “Set It Off”. Arranged, performed & tracked by Mr. Romeo, with Hayes Greenfield sax solos & fills produced & recorded by Strafe; the final mix down was skillfully handled by producer/engineer, DJ Kevin Anthony. At 8:09 minutes length, this is “smooth Soca bliss” for sure! Says Strafe, “I wanted something a bit different from an expected soca/calypso treatment.
